Lo Mai Gai

We always go for dim sum between 10:30 and 11:00. Problem is... That's Ryan's nap time... So we brought home some lo mai gai (chinese glutenous rice wrapped in lotus leaf, filled with lap cheung (chinese sausage) and pork). Ryan didn't want to try it until I brought out the intriguing chopsticks...

Weird looking spoon and fork?

Maybe I can throw them on the floor? Will Mom pick them up again as she always does?

Hmmmmm... I kinda like these... I wonder what they do?

What is she trying to put in my mouth now? Maybe it'll taste better between those two sticks?

Not too bad... not too bad at all.... Velly dericious!

Confederation waterpark

Greg had his annual vball tournie at Confereration Park with cousin Romi. Ryan passed by to cheer Dad on and to check the added bonus... the waterpark!

Hmmmmmm....

Dad's biggest fan!

Now I'm cool like Dad! I'm cool like that... I'm cool like that...

I think these look better on me than you Dad.

Go Dad go! Anyone got a hotdog? Where's the service around here?!

Strawberries and New York fries

Ryan loves strawberries from our hanging basket on our back deck and the other thing he loves even more (more than his Dad I think)... New York Fries...

Freshly picked this morning...

This picture doesn't show the big red stain around Ryan's lips :)

Could this be true... Am I about to eat an actual New York French Fry?

Oh my... I think it is!

Can I get these into my mouth any faster? Mmmmmmmmmm...

Sand exploration

My close friend Sonja, husband Chokir and their 5 year old son Milan live in White Rock. Ryan and I finally had a chance to go for a long awaited visit. Ryan spent the day cruising around (often running) around tidal pools, digging sand, eating sand and exploring all the seaweed and small fishies.
